We wished a very fond farewell to our founder and trustee Jenny Kretz MBE at our AGM on Friday 8th July 2022 after 12 years with Home-Start Blackmore Vale.
Home-Start Blackmore Vale was the second Home-Start scheme that Jenny had set up. The first being in Chorley & South Ribble (now Central Lancs) in the 70s and then after moving to Dorset she persuaded some colleagues to help her set up Home-Start Blackmore Vale in 2010.
She has been an excellent leader and inspiration to us all and will be greatly missed. Her fellow trustees, staff and volunteers presented her with a small gift and wish her a very long and happy (second) retirement.
We were delighted when Peter Grigg, Chief Executive of Home-Start UK agreed to send her his personal thanks in a short video. See link https://youtu.be/miiYxyu9Cus
