Thank you for thinking of leaving a gift in your will to Home-Start Blackmore Vale. Your generosity could make a lasting difference and ensure we can continue to improve the lives of children and families.
If you decide you’d like to leave us a gift in your will, there are three ways:
- leaving a fixed sum of money (known in legal terms as a pecuniary)
- leaving a percentage of your estate (known as a residuary)
- leaving an identifiable object such as jewellery or a painting (known as a specific legacy)
We understand your will is a very personal thing, and that your friends and family should come first. If we are fortunate to receive a gift in your will, we promise:
· To treat you and your gift with sensitivity and respect and only publicise the details if you wish us to
· To understand you may not wish to tell us if you have left a gift to us in your will
· If you are happy for us to do so, to keep in touch about the work we do
· Anything you gift to us will only be used to support our families in the Blackmore Vale and West Dorset area
· Your gift will be used where it’s needed most so it has the greatest impact.
If you would like to discuss your options with us, or to have some more information, please do not hesitate to get in touch. All out contact details can be found by clicking here.
